An Android (and soon iPhone) app that allows users to track nearby chargers to be available so they know to go and plug their car in as soon as the charger is available. No more looking outside every once in a while. Even better: the app notifies you about nearby available chargers once you get close to your destination. Low friction, high value.
I'm just tired of having to wait for public chargers to become available or having to figure out where to go once I arrive at my destination. Seems like these problems can be solved by an easy app.

I live in a building where I have no way of charging my car directly, so I need to use public chargers around where I live. The good thing is there are quite a few of these already available. The bad thing is there's just not enough for all the people around here using them, so they're plugged in/busy all the time. So it gives me some sort of anxiety to constantly look outside the window to check and it's not like I can clearly see them. When it's dark out, you can't even see anything. So I decided to build an app that shows me all the charges nearby, shows me the status, and then when they're busy, it shows me the updates once it gets available. Then I can just run down to my car, move my car, and I'm done. And I thought to myself: "if I like that solution, why wouldn't other people like this"? So here I go...
