Mortal Kombat – Legacy

Yes, I know, it’s been a while since I posted a cool/interesting/inspiring video on monday. Lots of stuff has happened: I moved to a new server (which led to lots of unexpected and unwanted downtime), I had to head out of town for about a month to work at a full-time non-computer related job. And I wanted to have a life for a few weeks, which was nice ;-). All that lead to no motion on monday. However I’m back, so let’s do this!

To make up for the silence of the past weeks, I’ve got something very cool. For all of you who love Mortal Kombat: Here’s a series of 9 legacy videos I came across a few weeks ago. It was filmed and directed by Kevin Tancharoen; a name I’ve never heard of before. As it turns out he wanted to create a new movie called ‘Mortal Kombat: Rebirth‘ and went on the create a demo movie in order to pitch it to Warner Brothers. However he accidentally published it on Youtube (rather than making it a private video) and the public responded with big applause. When meeting with Warner Brothers later on, they turned down the movie pitch. They agreed however to fund him for a web series. Sounds good enough to me. And here we are now…
Well, Mr. Tancharoen: You did great. Really awesome stuff!
