Heaven and hell
Published by Ronny on June 14th, 2010 in Experiments. 1 commentIt’s been quite some time since I did a photography experiment/project/thingy… So here goes my first in <insert timespan here>.
I went out for a shoot at the well known bridge-spot in Kortrijk and by accident I made 2 great color-discoveries. A mighty blue shot and a horrifying red one… I love ‘m both.
I wanted to do some post-editing but after some feedback it turns out I shouldn’t tamper with the originals after all. I also recorded 2 timelapse shots, featuring the same awesome colors. Yesterday was an amazing day.
Interactive music video by Pendulum
Published by Ronny on April 12th, 2010 in Check this. 3 commentsLast year a lot of my spare time went into timelapse experiments and I always wanted to explore something new. Ultimately I got to a point where I just couldn’t go any further since I didn’t have the tech to do it: I wanted to record a 360° timelapse and then create a videoplayer which allows users to ‘look around’ while watching the timelapse.
Apparently some of the Pendulum guys thought of the same thing. The created a music video in 360°. While the video plays you can just pan the camera around and see everything. You can pause the video at any time and check out the environment. I think this is pretty great! Every user will actually see a totally different video, depending on ‘what they look at‘. Totally cool, totally what I had in mind! Oh and the track isn’t too bad either!

4 “WTF?!” moments during a Flex/AIR experiment
Published by Ronny on June 11th, 2009 in Experiments, download. 9 comments
On a shiny day I was sitting inside, and I don’t know what bug just bit me, but I felt like experimenting with Flex and AIR (instead of heading outside into the light). For some reason I felt like creating a Photobooth clone with only one feature: Taking a snapshot every few seconds and saving it to the disk. During my quest I came across a few findings that were either extremely weird or just plain awesome. Here goes my list of ‘WTF?!’
