Supermini showcase

A few months ago I re-released Supermini, a simple WordPress theme. After some time I started running across the first sites actually using it and, like every other theme, Supermini was personalized by everyone who used it. However since Supermini is such a simple and basic theme, minor changes make a big difference. I found that a lot of these changes looked great. Here are some of them.

First of all, thanks for creating the SuperMini theme, as it rules, and also thanks for the showcase ehem.. Exposure (Did you see the stuff on Pervart? :) )

Anyway. What I really wanted to say here is that themes, especially as there are just so adaptable, and you can transform them a hell of a lot. From the Red coloured version all the way through to making it full widthed, or fatter like my version, all the way down to something as simple as a logo.

if your an up and coming web designer, and you want to try things out, this issomething good to work with. I mean I pretty much changed the entire look of the design on mine, just by putting everything into boxes. whats more, by playing about with someone elses code, you get to learn things, and template designers much prefer people taking something and making it their own rather than just drag and drop…

And finally, when it comes to templating, DON’T BE AFRAID TO ASK! Most template designers will give you their opinion about what you’ve done, however, at the end of the day it’s all down to taste.

    GOOD LUCK!
