Interactive music video by Pendulum
Last year a lot of my spare time went into timelapse experiments and I always wanted to explore something new. Ultimately I got to a point where I just couldn’t go any further since I didn’t have the tech to do it: I wanted to record a 360° timelapse and then create a videoplayer which allows users to ‘look around’ while watching the timelapse.
Apparently some of the Pendulum guys thought of the same thing. The created a music video in 360°. While the video plays you can just pan the camera around and see everything. You can pause the video at any time and check out the environment. I think this is pretty great! Every user will actually see a totally different video, depending on ‘what they look at‘. Totally cool, totally what I had in mind! Oh and the track isn’t too bad either!
