We all grew up with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. We remember the crazy combo’s featuring 22 kickflips, 19 darkslides and a madonna backflip, right? Those were some crazy tricks and we all knew they were not possible in the real world.

Well just a few days ago, I came across a skateboard hero who seems to have emerged from such a game to the our world. Meet Kilian Martin. A guy that does a ‘quick handstand to double flip‘ while on the top of a slope.

I love this skatevideo because it stands out. It doesn’t feature the usual AC/DC tunes or rapmusic. The soundtrack is one of those that I’d just call ‘great music‘. Every shot; every trick is unique. Not like most other skatevideos where you get to see the same guy do the same trick on different spots. The music and the great acrobatics get even better when completed with some very cool slow motion cuts. It makes me want to go and record skatevideos again. Aahhh… Those were the days.
